This year our school is participating in Read, Right, Run as part of the Go! St. Louis Marathon weekend.  I am so excited to coordinate this event and hope that many of our kids will sign up!  This event helps kids focus on the stamina of reading, keeping fit, and exercising good character by doing good deeds for others.  Over the six months of the program, kids will need to:

• Read 26 books
• Run 25 miles - the last mile will be run on race day on April 9th.
• Do 26 good deeds - lots of opportunities for this!

Once students have registered, journals will be sent to me to distribute.  I will help kids keep track of their miles run/walked, books read, and good deeds done.  We hope to have some times throughout the year to get together and run/walk too.

This is a great opportunity to help establish great habits for your child as well as get involved in school.  You can register online at Read, Right, Run or you can send in the paper registration form.  Our deadline for registration is October 29th
