So we finally recieved our Read, Right, Run journals.  I have passed them out to everyone...I hope.  If you haven't gotten yours, please let me know!

I know several students have told me that they have been reading like a storm.  It's great to see such excitement and enthusiasm!  Now, the question is, how many miles have you run so far?  Running and getting in the exercise is such a challenge. Now that it's gettig to be colder and closer to winter, it will be even harder.  One place you can walk where it's warm and it's safe, with an adult, is the mall.  Crestwood Court is a great place to go because it's large and often empty. Another great event is coming up the Jingle Jog in Valley Park.  You can do the Family 1 Mile or challenge yourself with the 5K.  It's hard to keep motivated when it's cold and dark out, but it will help give you energy and burn off those holiday calories!

Let me know some titles of great books you are reading or have read. I know that the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid has been released and is a hot item at the library.  What books do you want to read?  Comment below and I can start a great "Books to Read" list
